Around the province, people use trails to walk, cycle, and snowmobile. However, the enjoyment of these trails by some can cause headaches for those who live nearby. The Agenda asks: Can enjoying the great outdoors coexist with peace and quiet?
Known as “Ontario’s snowmobiling wonderland” and offering over 300km of well developed and painstakingly maintained snowmobile trails, Haliburton Forest is considered to be one of the Top 10 snowmobiling destinations in North America.
Haliburton Forest’s location at the top of the Algonquin Dome boasts unmatched snowmobiling conditions, while the rest of eastern North America suffers from repeat winters of poor snowfall.
Despite this growth in popularity and use, we’re committed to maintaining your winter getaway experience without sacrificing the quality of our snowmobile trails. Snowmobile freely: with a limited number of passes, and an extensive network of trails, riders never experience a back-to-back line up.
Gasoline, oil, snowmobile rentals, accommodations, and food are available at Base Camp (with free parking) near Kennisis Lake.
For more information or to book your day passes/holiday check out www.haliburtonforest.com or phone us at 800-631-2198 option 1 for reservations.
On this episode of Extreme UTV Tech it is RZR Exhaust shootout time to find out which is better a Gibson Dual Exhaust or single exhaust on a Polaris RZR Turbo. We loved the single gibson polaris rzr 1000 exhaust we had on our 2014 race machine so they once again got the nod for the new rides. Rzr Turbo exhaust sounds a bit different as the turbo actually quiets down the exhaust. We installed the gibson dual exhaust on our 2017 Turbo and the single on our 2016 Polaris RZR Turbo. We then did in depth sound comparisons so you can decide which you would rather have on your machine. Also be sure to watch until the end to find out how you can win one of these kits for your machine!
Here are the links to the systems as tested on the busted knuckle films rzr.
