This video applies to trucks with the Vortech 5700 and other v8 engines. This video applies to the 96, 97, and 98 C and K series 1500 2500 and 3500 Silverado Pickup Truck, 1996-99 Suburban, Tahoe and Yukon plus 96, 97, 98, 99, 00, and 01 Express and Savanna.
1. Disconnect the battery 1:30
2. Remove the serpentine belt 1:45
3. Remove the alternator 2:00
4. Install the new alternator 3:00
5. Put the serpentine belt back on 4:55
