So far I’ve tested the Caterham 160S and the 270S, two models designed more for comfort, but this is the 360R. The R means that you’ll get a lightweight flywheel, a limited slip differential, adjustable suspension and an uprated master brake cylinder to name a few.
This is on top of a car that’s powered by a naturally aspirated 2.0 litre engine lifted from the original Fiesta ST. It has more power though, and is able to pump out 180bhp with 194Nm of torque. This means this purple pocket rocket will hit 60mph in just 4.8 seconds and the top speed is 130mph.
These are just numbers though, what do they equate to in real life? I hit the road to find out, plus thanks to Lydden Hill race circuit, I was able to get a bit of track time as well.
